Homeschool Day 6/16: Trying to Survive the School Day

 After his karate class this morning, the 11 year-old turned his brain off and never turned it back on again.  So, we did not make much progress this morning.

Math

• Saxon Math 6/5 - we did the fractions investigation, but only finished half due to his temporary insanity

Reading

• Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH (read-aloud)
• The Wild Robot

Science

• Apologia Astronomy - galaxies and black holes, which our school day was suctioned into

Extras

• Karate class - which apparently prohibited him from remembering what 12 divided by 3 was, among other things
• Boy Scouts
