Homeschool Day 7/26

 2nd Grader

Well....he did not do any school today, because he was busy pretending to be a pirate.  Oh well.

10th Grader

Math

  • Mathusee Geometry
Bible
  • Daily Bible reading (1 Kings)
  • Mere Christianity (CS Lewis)
Easy Grammar 10th Grade Ultimate workbook

Bookshark J History of Science (history and literature)
  • She finished her mini-essay on a quote by Friedrich Nietzsche.  She did a great job.
  • We did our reading
  • I found a TED Talk video about Pythagoras and the Pythagorean theorem, so we watched that together
  • String, Straightedge, and Shadow - this is one of the Bookshark books that we are reading right now and neither of us are liking this book.  It is very long-winded and dry.  We're almost finished with the book, so we will finish it, but if I can find some videos to accompany the book, then I'm just going to do that (like the TED video about Pythagoras)
We ended early so they could go rollerskating with another homeschool family.
