Summer Plans 2021

Here are my tentative plans for summer 2021 (after I take a short break to do the things I listed in my other post).  It looks like a lot on paper, but it's very toned-down from what we usually do.  It's probably 1-1.5 hours of work per day.

1st Grader:

  • Reader
  • Read-Aloud
  • Summer's Lab
It's possible that we will do this for a couple of weeks and he'll beg to start school again.  (This has happened before when I tried to take a summer break). If this happens, I will just start school again.

9th Grader (age 13 -skipped 6th grade, which is why she's only 13):
  • Finish Algebra 1
  • Finish Language Lessons for the Secondary Child
  • Reader
  • Read-Aloud
This child will happily take a break from school.

11/12th Grader (age 16 - most likely skipping 11th grade):
  • Finish Algebra 2
  • Finish Language Lessons for the High School Student
  • Government & Economics
  • Reader
  • Read-Aloud
Mark my words...this child will get mad when she finds out we are taking a "break" from our full schedule.  *rolling my eyes*
