My son (the 4th grader) absolutely loves this French program. He is rattling off so many French words at this point and we just started French over the summer. He's trying to form sentences on his own. He was even trying to convince his 9 year-old friend to learn French.
We are currently working through the playlists on YouTube under the name French with Mr. Innes. We're currently in the series "Learn French Basics for Kids in 40 Days." There are mini-series on different topics like buildings, numbers, colors, French pronouns, pets, food and drink, parts of the body, etc.
His videos are excellent for younger kids. The way he teaches vocabulary makes it easy for them to remember. Even I'm learning all of the vocabulary alongside my 9 year-old.
I am planning to subscribe to his website/curriculum after we finish the free YouTube playlist. He has a French video curriculum that you can pay for monthly as a subscription. It looks like a step up from his video series on Youtube, but it looks excellent.
Here's his homeschool page: French for Homeschooling
The subscription amount is in European currency, but all of his reviews are from the United States, so I think he's getting most of his homeschool subscribers from the US, since we have a much larger homeschool population than Europe does.
This was such a great curriculum find!
